Our story

Tiny puppies, raised in a house full of love.

Wigglebutt Dachshunds is a small, family-run program devoted entirely to the dachshund breed. Our puppies are born and raised right inside our home โ€” never in a kennel, never in a barn โ€” surrounded by family, kids, soft blankets, and the everyday sounds of a busy household. From day one, they are handled, cuddled, weighed, and loved.

We focus on a rainbow of dachshund colors โ€” chocolate, cream, red, black & tan, dapples, and more โ€” and we only breed from health-tested parents with calm, confident temperaments. We plan just a few carefully matched litters each year so every puppy gets the time, attention, and early socialization they deserve before going home.

When a Wigglebutt puppy joins your family, you don't just get a puppy โ€” you get us, for life. We're here for the late-night questions, the training wins, the vet decisions, and the silly photo updates years later.

Pickup & Delivery

We accept both pickup and nationwide delivery. Families nearby are welcome to come meet their puppy in person. For families farther away, we arrange safe door-to-door delivery through a licensed pet courier or trusted flight nanny โ€” your puppy travels with care, hydration, potty breaks, and constant supervision. Delivery is quoted based on distance and travel method.

How we raise our puppies

Raised in our home

Not in a kennel. Puppies grow up in our kitchen, living room, and garden โ€” surrounded by family life.

Early socialization

Daily handling, exposure to children, sounds, surfaces, car rides, and other dogs from week 3 onward.

Comprehensive health testing

Every parent is screened for OFA hips, eye, and cardiac issues, plus full breed-specific DNA panels.

Lifetime support

We're here for the life of every puppy โ€” training questions, vet recommendations, late-night worries. Always.

Come meet us

We love meeting prospective families. Visits are by appointment so we can give you our full attention (and so the puppies aren't overwhelmed).
